Pigs bow out in 2016

The Bushpigs have finished 2016 with a loss to Crookwell last weekend. the Pigs could only scrape together the bare 15 players for the long travel, with work commitments and injuries playing havoc with the lineup at the wrong end of the season. Despite this the boys put in a valiant effort to lead the home side for much of the game, injuries to Coach Matt Caldwell and skipper Steve Rompannen did not help the pigs chances. The boys went down 11-8 ring on the siren with only 13 players on the field it was a great effort to finish 2016.

On the serious neck injury sustained by our skipper, he has had surgery and despite a long road of rehab he should make an amazing recovery.
